Application: Used as Food Flavor, Daily Flavor, Soap Flavor etc and a solvent. it is used widely in perfumery and cosmetics for its aroma and in flavorings to impart apple and pear flavors. Benzyl acetate is also used as a solvent in plastics and resin, cellulose acetate, nitrate, oils, lacquers, polishes and inks.

Storage and transportation: Do not handle or store near an open flame, heat or other sources of ignition. Keep container closed. Handle containers with care. Open slowly in order to control possible pressure release. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area.
